The frogs are too fast and slippery for Sammy and Chocolate to catch! Finally, "hunt happy and bone weary," all they can do is sit with toes dipped into the marsh, listening to frog-song in the dusk until their mother calls. The book ends with a note from the author about the variety of frog species and their frog-song"--</subfield>
